Nestled in the hills between Troon and Dundonald, Harpercroft Farm is home to Robert and Helen Goldie, and their son Michael. Alongside rearing thoroughbred race horses, the Goldies run a flock of pedigree Suffolk sheep, with the main aim of breeding Suffolk stock for show and sale -the team are hoping for another cracking year.
Working closely with their Norvite Feed Adviser Jordan Hibberd, the Goldie family have so far achieved great success this year, firstly taking both champion and reserve titles at Ayr Show with their gimmer and ewe lamb and then another very successful day at the National Suffolk Show at Fife Show with another 1st for their gimmer, 3rd for their ewe lamb and 4th for their ram lamb, in what were some very strong classes.
